By completing this program, you will acquire the necessary skills and experience to lead groups of certified divers safely. This is a great introductory step towards an exciting career as an SSI Dive Professional, without having to go through an instructor program.

As a Professional Dive Master, you can work with SSI Dive Centres, guiding dives in diverse environments and conditions. Upon completion of the program, you will receive the SSI Dive Master certification.

This program comprises of the SSI Dive Guide program and the SSI Science of Diving specialty.

At Pro Dive Central Coast, we hold ourselves to a higher standard of diver training than other centres, at every level.

Our Pro Dive training is not necessarily harder, but it is more thorough. We strongly believe that this results in better-trained divers. Our comprehensive program provides valuable experience in dive skills, teaching, and people skills. This ensures that you receive a well-rounded training experience.

To be eligible, you must possess certified proof of experience or have completed the courses in the areas listed below.

• Stress and Rescue Diver 
• Night & Limited Visibility 

To become a Pro Dive / SSI Divemaster, you must have at least sixty dives and forty hours of logged in-water experience. 

We believe it's crucial to prepare you for finishing the course and assuming the required responsibilities that come with obtaining a professional diver level qualification.

In addition, it's necessary to possess a diving medical certificate that's no older than twelve months and has been approved by a licensed medical professional.
